Today, we are celebrating International Women’s Day by paying tribute to a group of women who, although they may not be fully aware of it, make the world a better place.
Patricia, Samira, Remedios, María Moreno, Mireia, Esther, Rocelin, Carme and Naddia have a superpower that makes them unique: their capacity to love and take care of those around them without expecting anything in return.
We found them at the Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer (the Spanish Association against Cancer, AECC) and they touched our hearts when they told us how they spend 365 days of the year devoted to others, without taking time off. We have followed them closely ever since, trying to find a time when we could reward them in some way for the love they show others.
And their time arrived. Today, on 8 March, International Women’s Day, the team at Bella Aurora had the opportunity to get to know them a little better, pampering them to give them even more energy – if that is even possible – to keep doing their magnificent work.
