Who is it suitable for?

Protects all skin types from the sun, particularly for people who do outdoor activities.

Application

Shake well before use. Apply to the face before exposure to the sun, holding 15 cm away and covering the eyes to prevent contact. Then spread the cream with the palms of the hand.

Applying sparingly will significantly reduce the level of protection.

Reapply regularly.

Mitracarpus and Bearberry extract	Reduces melanin production by inhibiting tyrosinase.
Thermus thermophilus ferment	IR protection. Anti-oxidant. Soothes inflammation.
Pronalen Bio-Protect	A mixture of ginseng, wheat, barley, apple and peach. Combination of natural extracts that protect from external damage caused by toxic contaminants in the environment (heavy metals, gases, cigarette smoke) and UV radiation.
Asiatic pennywort oil	Powerful skin regenerator, antioxidant and moisturiser. Soothes and softens irritated skin.
Maral Root and Buckthorn	Stimulates the keratinization process. Restores firmness and suppleness, improving definition of the facial oval. Improves epidermal communication and cohesion to fight sagging.

Is it for summertime only?

No, the sun is on your skin all year round. That’s why it’s important to protect it from the sun, every day. Bella Aurora sunscreens are applied like a regular moisturiser, or after an anti-dark spot treatment, 365 days of the year.

Do Bella Aurora sun filters only protect skin from the sun?

No, as well as protecting from UVA, UVB and IR light, they also care for the skin with depigmenting, moisturising, soothing and antioxidant ingredients. They’re the ideal treatment with sun protection for looking after your skin all year round.

Do I need a sunscreen on cloudy days?

Yes, sun damage is caused by solar radiation, not by high temperatures. Solar radiation penetrates clouds, and is sometimes even stronger, therefore, sun protection is always essential to avoid damage, possible dark spots, and/or anti-dark spot treatment.

How often should I reapply sun protection?

If you’re at the beach and wearing a swimsuit and spending hours in the sun, you must reapply your sunscreen every two hours and always after swimming and/or drying yourself with a towel. Experts recommend you use 2 mg/cm2 in an even layer over the skin. Any less, and you will not benefit from the indicated level of protection.

When you are not on the beach, there’s no need to reapply every two hours, since your clothes protect you, and the areas exposed to the sun are less sensitive. It all depends on how long you are out in the sun. It’s enough to reapply every time you go outside and reapply in case of heavy sweating.

What is visible light? Why is it harmful?

Visible or blue light is all around you, from sunlight to artificial devices like laptops, flat-screen TVs, tablets, mobile phones and even fluorescent and LED light. The sun gives out far more blue light than your favourite technological devices, but because we spend so much time using them, the risks are multiplied.

Visible light penetrates the skin more deeply than UVA and UVB light and has been shown to increase the production of free radicals and speed up oxidation.
